🧮 Wyckoff Market Health Dashboard

Market Health Score: 50

The Market Health Score improved slightly from last week but remains firmly inside a weakening regime.

  • Health: WEAKENING
  • Execution: MODERATE
  • Trend: RANGE / MIXED
  • Confirmation: WEAK
  • Condition: WEAKENING
  • Cluster: WARNING
  • Regime: DEFENSIVE / WEAKENING

The market continues sending a mixed message. Indexes remain strong due to concentrated technology leadership, but confirmation remains weak and defensive characteristics continue appearing beneath the surface. Until participation broadens meaningfully, caution remains warranted despite higher prices.

🌍 Macro Market Backdrop

Stocks remained surprisingly resilient throughout the week, led almost entirely by technology and growth leadership. Beneath the surface, however, market internals continue to weaken as defensive conditions remain elevated. The divergence between strong index performance and deteriorating internals remains one of the most important themes currently developing.

🧭 Market Overview (SPY / QQQ)

SPY continues trending higher with another successful markup continuation phase pushing prices toward new recovery highs. Technometer remains neutral at 45.88 despite the strong advance, suggesting momentum is not yet excessively extended. Market structure remains bullish, though participation continues narrowing beneath the surface.

QQQ remains the dominant leadership vehicle as technology stocks continue attracting institutional capital. Relative strength remains impressive, and the recent markup phase continues confirming strong sponsorship. Leadership remains concentrated in technology, making QQQ the primary driver of broad market performance.

🏦 Interest Rates & Defensive Assets (TLT)

TLT staged a countertrend bounce this week, but we continue maintaining our bearish stance and remain short. Technometer has recovered modestly, though the broader Wyckoff distribution structure remains intact. We continue expecting lower prices after this bounce exhausts itself.

⛏️ Gold / Hard Assets (GDX)

GDX entered the week deeply oversold and responded with the expected recovery rally. While the bounce is constructive short-term, the broader structure remains weak with multiple distribution characteristics still present. We continue viewing rallies as corrective until stronger accumulation evidence appears.

⚡ Energy Sector (XLE)

The overbought Technometer signal from eight trading days ago correctly warned of a pullback phase developing. Price has corrected as expected, relieving the prior momentum excess. Despite short-term weakness, we continue favoring the sector longer-term and remain long from prior accumulation signals.

₿ Crypto Market Overview (BTC / ETH)

Bitcoin continues sliding lower and remains trapped in a corrective structure. Our decision to remain on the sidelines continues proving prudent as no clear low-risk accumulation entry has emerged. Momentum remains weak, and patience continues to be warranted.

Ethereum remains weaker than Bitcoin and continues consolidating near the lower portion of its range. Technometer conditions remain neutral, but no compelling accumulation signal has appeared. We remain on the sidelines awaiting a higher-probability setup.
